ABOUT ME
Levko Esztella is an actress and university lecturer. She studied at Rose Bruford College in London and spent a year at the Moscow State University of Cinematography.
Thanks to her international film and theater work, she works in several languages (English, Hungarian, Russian).
During her film career to date, she has worked with such prestigious filmmakers as director Amma Asante on the film Billion Dollar Spy, starring Russell Crowe. She also landed a role in the Oscar-nominated Canadian HBO miniseries Rematch, directed by Yan England. Another important international film project was Wim Vandekeybus's Galloping Mind. She also played a leading role in the internationally acclaimed British production Locked In. Hungarian viewers may know her as a regular cast member of the popular television series Jóban rosszban.
She gained her theatrical experience through collaborations with numerous European companies, where she mastered the methods of physical theater in addition to classical theatrical language. During his acting career, she has worked with such notable companies as the Polish Gardzienice Center, the Italian Compagnia Pippo Delbono, the French Compagnie Philippe Genty, and the Slovenian ViaNegativa. She was also a guest artist at the Csiky Gergely Theater in Timișoara. After working abroad, her performances were shown in Hungary at the Trafó House of Contemporary Arts and the Jurányi House.
In addition to her acting work, she is a guest lecturer at East 15 Acting School in London.
She is a co-founder of Sarolta Cultural and Public Space.
